A garden featuring roses named for the Roman Olympians could include a large number of roses representing many different groups from old garden roses to modern hybrid teas, floribundas and minis. Some deities have a single rose named for them while others have more than one rose, providing additional opportunity for diversity. Color choices include white, pink, red, yellow, mauve, and blends. Roses named ‘Diana’ are probably named after England’s princess so using the Greek Artemis is more appropriate. This list is more of interest from a cultural point of view rather than practical as most of the roses will be very difficult to find.
