They offer learning opportunities on many levels and provide an opportunity for adults and children to interact in a meaningful way.

The projects are diverse and introduce children to a variety of plants from the mimosa to bulbs, annuals and succulents. Each project includes a list of materials and detailed step by step instructions that are accompanied by color drawings to illustrate each step and a photograph of the completed projects. Projects include a grass family made with nylon stockings, an indoor miniature garden, and a dinosaur terrarium. Although not an extensive offering of projects, and good one with excellent instructions.
